The first educational video (available worldwide) from the Cervical Disc Arthroplasty Symposium educational event in April is now available for you and your surgeon customers to view.
The symposium was a major worldwide event that focused on discussions about cervical total disc replacement (TDR) disc designs, indications, techniques, complications, and post-operative management. The educational course was led by some of the preeminent TDR experts from across the globe and was viewed by hundreds of virtual attendees throughout the world.
This first educational lecture is led by Dr. Jack Zigler (Texas Back Institute, Plano TX) and is a fantastic review of the history of cervical TDR in the U.S., as well as the extensive body of clinical evidence that supports the efficacy of the cervical TDR procedure. You are encouraged to view the video yourself to strengthen your own knowledge, but also to forward it along to any surgeon customers that remain skeptical of the cervical TDR procedure. Dr. Zigler also provides a balanced review of some of the recent challenges facing cervical TDR, such as osteolysis.
This short 26 minute video will strengthen your knowledge and be worth your time.
"…[cTDR offers] the best cumulative scientific evidence validating ANY technology implanted in the human body… Better than clinical evidence for artificial hips & knees, plates and screws, rods, intra-ocular lenses, vascular grafts, pacemakers, etc."
-Dr. Jack Zigler
